Sue is a healthcare communications specialist with nearly 15 years’ experience delivering successful communications strategies for companies. She has particular expertise in financial and corporate communications, advising clients across numerous sub-sectors including investor relations, media relations, issues and crisis management and internal communications.
Prior to joining Consilium Sue led the communications function at Novartis’ UK vaccine division (prior to its sale to GSK). She played a key role in the execution of the Company’s communications strategy for its meningitis B vaccine, Bexsero, which saw the vaccine being added to the NHS’ routine childhood immunisation schedule.
Sue began her career working for financial PR agencies, focusing on healthcare when she joined leading agency FTI Consulting, where she worked with private and listed clients, delivering impactful corporate communication strategies for senior management.
Sue holds a BA in History and Politics from University College Dublin, and a HDip in Business Studies from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin, Ireland.
