Eugene (Gene) Mannheimer is a Managing Director on ICR Westwicke’s healthcare services and healthcare technology team. Gene’s focus includes all aspects of investor relations and capital advisory services, working with companies to craft and refine their investment theses, helping to establish and articulate proper messaging and positioning with Wall Street and institutional investors.   Gene’s universe spans healthcare providers and technology-enabled suppliers as well as providers of digital health and services.

Gene joins ICR Westwicke following a distinguished 20-year career as a sell-side analyst covering the healthcare Services, health IT and digitealth sector at several growth-oriented firms including Colliers Securities, Topeka Capital Markets, B. Riley, ThinkEquity and Roth. Prior to joining ICR in 2021, Gene spent five years at Colliers spearheading coverage of the digital health and HCIT sector.  Previous to his sell-side career, Gene spent a decade in sales and marketing at leading healthcare IT companies including McKesson/HBOC, Medicus Systems (acquired by QuadraMed), and Pyxis Corporation (Becton Dickinson). Additionally, as a consultant to emerging companies in the health IT sector, Gene has advised sellers on strategic alternatives, partnering, minority investment, M&A target identification, valuation and exit negotiations.

As an analyst, Gene was best known for his prescient stock-picking ability, leveraging a deep rolodex amassed from ten years of operational experience in the healthcare IT domain.  He was awarded Top Stock Picker in Software by the Wall Street Journal, a “Home-Run Hitter” by Institutional Investor and was rated among the top 3 earnings estimators in Healthcare Technology for 3 of the last 4 years.  Leveraging his domain expertise and financial acumen, Gene analyzed, supported and participated in multiple investment banking and capital markets transactions helping clients raise capital through initial public offerings and follow-on offerings.

Gene holds a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School, a Bachelor of Applied Science from the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A from the University of Southern California.
