Lucy is an experienced communications professional, advising private and listed healthcare companies in the UK, Europe and beyond. She joined Consilium in May 2019 and since then has supported a number of healthcare IPOs, fundraises, partnerships and other significant company milestones. She began her career at the financial public relations firm TB Cardew, where she gained expertise in financial PR across a number of sectors. Lucy graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in German and Russian.
When not at work, where would we likely find you?
Singing at my local church, watching The Great British Bake Off / Taskmaster, or off on an adventure in the UK or beyond.
What is one thing people do not know by looking at you?
I’ve lived in Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, China and Malaysia. My dad was a diplomat and then I decided to study languages at uni, which has given me some amazing opportunities to spend time abroad.
What is your favourite part of your job?
The variety of each week. From writing press releases on scientific data to advising clients on communicating their strategy, to pitching stories to journalists, there really isn’t a ‘typical’ day here – which keeps you on your toes!
