Sue has more than 30 years’ experience in the life sciences sector as an entrepreneur and business leader, primarily focused on communications consultancy across corporate, financial, investor, health and science communications.

 

Pioneering strategic communications in the innovation-led life sciences/ biotech sector, she founded and led two of the sectors notable consultancies – HCC De Facto and Northbank Communications. Following the sale of the latter to College Hill/ Instinctif Partners she led its Global Healthcare and Life Sciences practice from London and Sydney for 12 years as Managing Partner.

 

Sue specialises in communications across borders, supporting clients through periods of celebration and challenge. She has advised many leading and notable early stage private to large multinational companies, supporting clients as they grow, including through successful financings both privately and on public markets. She has also provided communications counsel to academic and not-for-profit organisations in addition to numerous venture funds.

 

A past member of the Board of the UK BioIndustry Association, 2018-2020, Sue has a first-class degree and MA in Biochemistry from Oxford University, PhD-level research experience in molecular biology at Leicester University and an MBA from Cranfield Business School.
